Bipartisan Dialogue about Moving PA’s 2024 Primary Day

Next year’s presidential primary in Pennsylvania is scheduled for April 23rd, which comes late in the process for selecting the eventual nominees. The webinar will feature Senators Shariff Street (D-3) and Dave Argall (R-29), co-sponsors of the bipartisan SB 224 to move up the primary date. Doing so, will increase PA’s national influence and avoid a conflict with the Jewish holiday of Passover, which might adversely affect the involvement of hundreds of thousands of voters and poll workers. Businesses planning to support their employees voting in 2024 should find the webinar of interest.

The Commissioner and Director of Elections from Monroe County will join the webinar and describe the operational impacts of changing the primary date on administering a secure election. Register here.
